Yes — completely free for everyone. Buyers can search and browse all prices without an account. Sellers can register their shop and list unlimited products at no cost. We do not charge commission on orders or listings.

PriceToday.lk covers all 25 districts of Sri Lanka — from Colombo to Jaffna, Galle to Trincomalee. You can filter shops by district, divisional secretariat (DS division), GN division, and nearest town. As more sellers register, coverage improves in every area.

Prices are entered directly by shop owners. We display a "price may be outdated" warning on any price that has not been updated for 7 or more days. We always recommend confirming prices with the seller before visiting their shop, as prices can change daily for some goods.

No. We are a price discovery and listing platform only. We connect buyers with local shops. All orders are placed directly with sellers via WhatsApp or SMS. We do not process payments, hold inventory, or handle deliveries.

No. You can browse, search, and view all shop prices without registering. You only need an account if you want to: save favourite shops, receive flash deal notifications by email, or keep a history of orders you have sent.

Browse a shop's price list and click + Add next to the products you want. An order list appears at the bottom of the screen. When ready, click Finish & send order, fill in your name, phone, and delivery address, then tap WhatsApp or SMS to send your order directly to the seller with all details pre-filled.

You need a free buyer account. On any shop profile page, click the bookmark icon next to the WhatsApp share button. The shop is saved to your account. You can view all saved shops from your dashboard. When a saved shop posts a flash deal, you will receive an email notification.

Use the search bar on the home page or the search icon in the navigation. Type the product name (e.g. "rice", "panadol", "coconut oil"). You can filter results by district, DS division, GN division, nearest town, and product category. Results are sorted by lowest price by default.

Click Register Shop in the top navigation. Create a seller account, fill in your shop name, category, location (district, DS division, GN division), contact number, and opening hours. Pin your exact location on the map. Your shop goes live immediately after registration.

From your dashboard, go to Manage prices. Click Add product to add products one by one. For large price lists, use Bulk import to upload a CSV file with all your products at once. Download the CSV template from the bulk import page.

Yes. After adding a product, click the Variants button on the price list page. You can add up to 3 attributes per variant (e.g. Colour: Red, Size: 42, Material: Cotton). Each variant can have its own price and stock status.

Flash deals are time-limited special offers you can post for any product in your price list. Set a deal price, end time, and optionally upload a flyer image. Buyers who have saved your shop receive an email notification about your deal. Flash deals appear on the Flash Deals page with a live countdown timer.

Orders are sent directly to your WhatsApp or phone number that you registered. Make sure your WhatsApp number is set correctly in your shop edit page. Each order message includes the buyer's name, phone number, delivery address, item list, and total amount — ready for you to confirm and process.

Search results show products, not just shops. Make sure you have added at least one product to your price list. Also check that your shop is verified (check the admin or contact us if unsure). Products that are marked as out of stock may not appear in standard searches.

Yes — PriceToday.lk is fully responsive and works on all smartphones. The order bar, map, image viewer, and all features are optimised for mobile. No app download is required — just open pricetoday.lk in your phone's browser.
