Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using PriceToday.lk ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About PriceToday.lk

PriceToday.lk (also known as MilaBoard — මිල දර්ශකය) is a price discovery platform for Sri Lanka. It allows shop owners ("Sellers") to list their product prices and allows buyers ("Buyers") to find and compare prices across shops island-wide. We are a price listing service — we do not sell products directly, hold inventory, or process payments.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password
• You must be at least 18 years old to register an account
• One person may not maintain more than one seller account

2.2 Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, post false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Seller Responsibilities

• Sellers must ensure all listed prices are accurate and current
• Sellers must update prices promptly when they change
• Sellers must only list products that are genuinely available in their shop
• Sellers must not list prices for products they do not carry
• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of all shop information including address, phone number, and opening hours
• Sellers acknowledge that listed prices are publicly visible to all visitors
• Sellers must respond to buyer order enquiries in a timely manner

4. Buyer Responsibilities

• Buyers acknowledge that prices are provided by sellers and may change
• Buyers should verify prices directly with the seller before visiting
• PriceToday.lk does not guarantee that listed prices are current or correct
• Buyers are responsible for any orders they place via WhatsApp or SMS

5. Price Accuracy Disclaimer

PriceToday.lk is a listing platform. We display prices as provided by sellers. We cannot guarantee that prices shown are current, accurate, or that products are in stock. Prices may have changed since they were last updated. We display a "price may be outdated" warning on products that have not been updated in 7 or more days.

Always confirm prices with the seller before making a purchase.

6. Order Process

Orders placed through PriceToday.lk are sent directly to sellers via WhatsApp or SMS. PriceToday.lk is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not process payments, hold funds, or handle delivery. Any disputes regarding orders, payments, or delivery are between the buyer and seller directly.

7. Prohibited Content

Users must not list or promote:

• Illegal goods or services under Sri Lankan law
• Counterfeit or stolen goods
• Controlled substances or drugs
• Weapons or dangerous materials
• Misleading or fraudulent price information
• Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights

8. Product Images

Sellers may upload product images to their listings. By uploading images, sellers confirm they own the rights to those images or have permission to use them. All uploaded images are watermarked with "MilaBoard · priceToday.lk" to protect seller content. We reserve the right to remove any images that violate these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The PriceToday.lk platform, its design, logo, and code are owned by us. Seller-provided content (shop names, prices, images) remains the property of the respective sellers. By listing on our platform, sellers grant us a non-exclusive licence to display their content on PriceToday.lk.

10. Limitation of Liability

PriceToday.lk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from:

• Inaccurate price information provided by sellers
• Transactions between buyers and sellers
• Platform downtime or technical errors
• Unauthorised access to your account

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
